Unerwartete Verbindungen werden hervorgehoben, insbesondere der betr�chtliche Einfluss der Axialverdichter-Technologie des schweizerisch-deutschen Unternehmens BBC Brown Boveri & Cie. auf die beiden anderen Seiten. Der Autor deckt wichtige Beziehungen und Abh�ngigkeiten auf, die einen erheb-lichen technischen Austausch f�rderten, und daher zu einer �nderung der bisherigen technisch-historischen Betrachtungsweise f�hren m�ssen, insbesondere in den entscheidenden Jahren vor Beginn des Zweiten Weltkriegs.
