In dem Sammelband werden zahlreiche Denkmotive des franz�sischen Philosophen aus einer genuin sozialwissenschaftlichen Perspektive aufgegriffen, weitergedacht und kritisiert, wobei in den einzelnen Artikeln konkrete Forschungsperspektiven mit Ranci�re entwickelt, methodologische �berlegungen im Anschluss an Ranci�re vorgestellt, gesellschaftstheoretische Reflexionen vor dem Hintergrund der Kritik des Philosophen unternommen sowie Aspekte seines politischen Denkens in die politische Theorie integriert werden. Aber auch sozialwissenschaftliche Kritik an der Philosophie Ranci�res findet in den Argumentationen der Autorinnen und Autoren ihren Platz.
