Ziel dieser Seminararbeit soll es deshalb sein, die Aufgaben des Controllings im Rahmen der internationalen Rechnungslegung anhand einiger ausgew�hlter Bereiche darzustellen und zu erl�utern. Im Zuge dessen werden wir insbesondere die neuen Herausforderungen der Controllingabteilungen, die sich durch die Umstellung des Jahresabschlusses von der rein gl�ubiger- und vergangenheitsorientierten Rechnungslegung des HGB hin zu einer die Investoren ansprechenden und zukunftsorientierten Berichterstattung der IFRS ergeben, untersuchen. In diesem Zusammenhang werden wir sehen, dass viele Informationen, die f�r die Berichterstattung nach IFRS notwendig sind, von internen Quellen zur Verf�gung gestellt werden m�ssen. In der dann nachfolgenden Ausarbeitung werden wir einige spezielle Bereiche der Bewertung herausgreifen und versuchen, anhand dieser deutlich zu machen, wo die Hauptaufgaben des Controllings, durch die Umstellung bedingt, liegen. Des Weiteren wird uns interessieren, an welchen Stellen die Rechnungslegung M�glichkeiten zur Bilanzpolitik zul�sst und wo die Umstellung auf die internationalen Vorschriften des IASB neue M�glichkeiten schafft.
