Daf�r sucht jede Sprache ihre eigenen Mittel, die Evidentialit�t , die Ausdrucksform des H�rensagens. Im Deutschen ist der Konjunktiv aussagekr�ftig f�r vermittelte Rede. Im Finnischen fehlt ein solcher Modus, aber so wie sich im Deutschen die Verwendung des Konjunktivs in berichteter Rede, besonders aber in den Online-Nachrichten stark vermehrt, scheint auch im Finnischen der Gebrauch des Tempus Plusquamperfekt die entsprechende modale Rolle zu �bernehmen. Diese und weitere syntaktische und lexikalische Mittel werden in dieser Arbeit n�her betrachtet. Im Mittelpunkt stehen die unterschiedlichen Formen der Redewiedergabe und die dahinter steckenden Meinungen der Texthersteller und �bersetzer. Die postmoderne, zersplitterte Gesellschaft ist ein guter N�hrboden f�r eine Mannigfaltigkeit der Ideen und Denkweisen, die besonders nach den schwierigen Jahren des Kalten Krieges begr��t werden kann. Um in dieser Mannigfaltigkeit zurecht zu kommen, muss der �bersetzer bzw. der Autor eines Presseberichts die Mittel seiner Muttersprache, aber auch die der Fremdsprache kennen, um die indirekte Information richtig weiterleiten zu k�nnen.
