Nachdem der K�rper zun�chst lediglich in einigen Therapie- und Selbsterfah rungszirkeln gro�e Bedeutung erlangt hatte, ist heute "die Wiederkehr des K�rpers" nicht nur in der Kunst, in der Literatur, im Film und im Theater festzustellen, auch in den Wissenschaften vollzieht sich eine "emotionale Wende". Die Zahl der Buchpublikationen und Artikel, die sich mit dem K�rper besch�ftigen, ist sprunghaft angestiegen, der Themenbereich dabei ist sehr facettenreich. Die Hinwendung zum K�rper, die fast zu einem Modetrend geworden ist, hat sicherlich ihre Wurzeln in der gesellschaftlichen, politischen, sozialen und wissen schaftlichen Situation der letzten Jahre und ihrer Entwicklung. Ich will an dieser Stelle mein Motiv f�r die Herausgabe dieses Buches zum K�rpererleben aussprechen: Es ist mein Interesse an einer ganzheitlichen psychosomatischen Medizin, die den Mensch als Sub jekt ernst nimmt, patientenzentriert ist und auf Allmachtsanspr�ch- auch im psychosozialen Gewande - verzichtet. Dem K�rpererleben des Menschen, das stets subjektiv ist, wird immer noch nicht die Bedeutung beigemessen, die ihm zukommt. Im heutigen iatrotechnischen Medizin system spielt das K�rpererleben nur eine marginale Rolle; die Medizin st�tzt sich auf organische Befunde und sucht den Menschen gleich einem Ger�t zu reparieren. Dies f�hrt zwar in vielen F�llen zum Erfolg, geht aber auch in vielen F�llen an der Wirklichkeit des Menschen vorbei.
