Zun�chst werden die historischen Grundlagen, dann die praktischen Probleme des Regierens und der heutigen Demokratie im Lichte der provozierenden These gepr�ft, da� in der politischen Gesellschaft alles politisiert werden kann, dass also nur die Politik selbst sich noch begrenzen und Freiheit wie Demokratie sichern kann. F�r dieses Buch wurde der Autor mit dem angesehenen Luigi-Sturzo-Sonderpreis f�r politische Studien ausgezeichnet.
