The edition of his translation of the New Testament and of some of his Daily Texts in volume 7 in the series "Texte zur Geschichte des Pietismus" starts with his early attempts of Timothy and Jude, of Matthew 5-7 and Revelation 1-4. It also presents his summaries to a number of books of the Old and New Testament and the suggestions of Johann Andreas Rothe for a new translation of the Luther Bible. The editors of the different texts offer a thorough introduction and complementary material for a better understanding of Zinzendorf's view of the Scripture. German description: Dieser Band der Edition enthalt Schriften, die Zinzendorfs Bemuhen um einen zeitgemassen Bibeltext widerspiegeln. 1726/27 gab Zinzendorf zunachst die Lutherbibel heraus, zu der er lediglich Summarien zu einzelnen Buchern verfasste. Ab 1733 richtete er dann in Herrnhut ein Collegium Biblicum ein, das einzelne Schriften des Neuen Testaments anhand des griechischen Urtextes ubersetzte.
