A dated early Fuchs book.
Das Graphische Werk contains many beautiful images by the ultra talented Ernst Fuchs. The entire book is in black & white & includes many etchings & drawings. Since this is quite the dated publication many of the reproductions are quite small & barely fill the page. If you are buying a Fuchs book for the first time I would highly recommend "Fuchs on Fuchs" by Marcel Brion instead of this title, it is generally cheaper & a lot more fun to browse through in my opinion. Also, there is an updated version of Das Graphische Werk that was released by Piper Press in 1980 that contains about twice the images over a greater span of time with many in full color. If you are an avid collector of Fuchs work then get this book, otherwise it's not a very good starting point.
