Diese Fragen haben zus�tzliche Brisanz gewonnen durch einen j�ngst posthum im Aca demy oj Management Learning & Education ver�ffentlichten Aufsatz von Sumantra Ghoshal, in dem dieser die Verbreitung insbesondere der Transaktionskostentheorie ob ihres, wie er meint, nachweisbar negativen Einflusses auf die Managementlehre noch einmal mit dem Verdikt "bad for practice" versieht. Er filhrt insbesondere die in den letzten Jahren rasant steigende Zahl unethischer Praktiken in der Wirtschaft auf die zu nehmende Akzeptanz der Empfehlungen der Neuen Institutionen�konomik zur�ck, die wie selbstverst�ndlich von der Allt�glichkeit unethischer Verhaltensweisen (opportunisti sches Verhalten) ausgehen.
