Die verschiedenen Segmente des Judentums haben Sabbatvorschriften entwickelt, die �ber die sp�rlichen biblischen Vorgaben weit hinausgehen. Neben Gemeinsamkeiten und Entwicklungslinien kann man auch gegens�tzliche halachische Positionen feststellen. Es wird deutlich, da� der Sabbat zwar eine von der Mehrzahl der Juden geteilte Institution ist, aber im einzelnen unterschiedlich realisiert wird. Eine m�gliche Realisierung findet sich bei Jesus von Nazaret, der im Horizont eines eschatologischen Sabbatverst�ndnisses auch an diesem Tag heilt; sein Verzicht auf halachische Absicherung bleibt grundlegend f�r den christlichen Umgang mit dem Sabbat.
