A "bookvie," as it is explained by the author, is simply a book/movie... AND THIS BOOKVIE, as described in what appeared to be an unpublished press release was: "A brief comic peep at the bowels of showbiz and how a crapping out artist survived till being placed upon a throne. A tale flushed out by "little people." Big Quiche does not accept unsolicited material of any kind, but when we discovered what we had, we knew we had to publish it. Our attempts in locating the elusive Mr. Gerhardt have thus far been futile. Perhaps he is traveling or making films on an island somewhere. We hope that this is not the last we hear from him. Never give up Hans, no matter where you may be; we're hoping you eventually land some of your own much-deserved fame.
