Local is a beautiful look at one girl's struggle to make it through her 20's while gripped by wanderlust, loneliness, and isolation. She encounters both beautiful and horrible people, all the hard realities of life in America, and travels through other people's lives. She lies, she cheats, she dates and breaks up. She grabs you by the hand and pulls you along with her, into a life with no rules, no ties, and what happens when you finally settle down with the stories you've written. Highly recommended, 'Local' will suck you in and refuse to let go. One of the best original graphic novels I've read in a very long time.
