After Goose girl I was thrilled to find another book by Shannon Hale. This book was okay and ended okay but wasn't great. It was sad and drawn out a bit during the depth of heart break. The author finally gets the book moving and it comes together in enough time to enjoy it before it ends. Never-the-less it made me just a bit leary to pick up another book by Ms. Hale. Read Enna Burning then pick up River Secrets and it will be worth the read.
