Wonderful, old school thinking, still relevant
My father had a copy of this book when I was a kid. I loved looking at it, as I admired him so much, I figured if I read it I could be like him. It is a splendid, if dated in some areas, piece of writing. Like many self-help books, it inspires the reader to grow and reach and stretch in all directions.
I have given it as gifts to college graduates because it is an easy read and has some wonderful nuggets of truth to tuck inside the heart and head as the path of life winds its way ever upward.
