Seller's Description:
Dispatched, from the UK, within 48 hours of ordering. Though second-hand, the book is still in very good shape. Minimal signs of usage may include very minor creasing on the cover or on the spine.
For the Good of the Horse is the best book out there to help you understand why saddles are made differently and their affect on the rider and horse. It covers subjects from the way the horse carries himself to the way we sit on him and influence him and so much more. I can't say enough good about this book. It is very insightful and I wish I had discovered it sooner. I read all of Mary's books with a highlighter in hand because they really are study guides, not just instructional books. Her method is solid and is based upon "by fixing the rider's position, you then automatically fix the horse".
