Goldstone's historical medical mystery thriller is a fascinating, fact-filled novel set within the confines of the medical community of Philadelphia in the late 1800's. A strong combination of early medical developments , drug addiction and forensic science as well as the solving of the grisly murder of a young woman in the midst of htose wh are presumed to be dedicated to save lives. This tale really steams up to a very well thought out finale worthy of the makings of a good movie.
