Les documents manquant, on a eu l'id�e de recourir � l'exp�rience: quatre enfants, deux du sexe f�minin et deux du sexe masculin, ont �t� isol�s dans une for�t d�s le berceau. Cette exp�rience a dur� de longues ann�es. Chacun d'eux a grandi isol� du monde et ne connait encore que Mesrou et sa soeur Carise qui les ont �lev�s. On va alors leur laisser la libert� de sortir de leur enceinte et de conna�tre le monde. Au lever du rideau, l'exp�rience touche � son terme et le spectateur va constater les r�sultats avec les premi�res amours qui vont appara�tre. En fait, cette pi�ce rel�ve d'une dispute savante sur une question de psychologie exp�rimentale: l'inconstance vient-elle de l'homme ou de la femme ?
