As this is a very healthy portion of South America, it is particularly well suited for the breeding of horses, cattle, and sheep, also for agricultural and mining pursuits; it bids fair in a few years to be in a most satisfactory condition, with its railroads now being made to traverse the great Pampas of Buenos Ayres."
