Lit a fire under me
A wonderful, heartening, encouraging book about the importance and value of trusting one's own capacity to write. I guess i've read a hundred books about writing and this is one of the three that actually sent me back to paper with a pen in my hand. loved it!

most excellent practical book that ever was
very reassuring to the doubtful writer, about writing the pitfulls the creativity involoved, the doubts , the fears, the conscious and unconscios working together and against each other, practical excercises and the most helpful exercise being to write everyday, without hope or fear but just to get in the swing of things, ironically published prior to the 1950s but still extremely relevant , the book has not dated but remains useful today as then!
