It started in 1973 when he saw State Bank (Madras) and Kerala Police Club in the final of Koder's Trophy in Kochi. Fascinated by the game, he covered it for 30-odd years, thereby getting the recognition of the FIVB as its accredited media person for nearly 15 years.
