I'm an action person, and the thought of the hours, days, weeks, probably even months it would take to sit down and write a book seemed like more than I wanted to undertake. Still, I knew it was something I needed to do because the stories of what Jesus has done need to be shared. In November of 2016, my dear friend Jan de Chambrier and I spent two weeks together in the Holy Land, leading conferences together for women in Israel and Palestine. As we shared our hopes and dreams, I told her about my desire to write a book about all the incredible things Jesus has done throughout my life. Jan, a published author, urged me to do this, saying, "Joy, the world needs to hear your stories. When the time is right, let me know and I'll help you."
