This was a very mnoving book, The descriptions of Hell and the suffering lost make you want to cry. To even imagine the agony Jesus felt while taking her on this journey , so that others will not venture out there is what I'm left with. He loves us so much that even though we turn from him, and do not obey his word, he still doesn't want to see us there in Hell, but once we are dead physically, it is nothing he can do to prevent it! Really makes one think! I want to try to live my life right here on earth for Jesus, so that I spend my eternity with Him!

cheesehead
This book was eyeopening and sobering but I'm put off by the "divine revelation" terminology...I prefer to reserve that for John's revelation as preserved in Holy Scripture.

Absolutely true
Mary K. Baxter is a tried and true servant of the Most High God, Jesus Christ. How special she must be that Jesus, Himself choose her to experience hell just so multitudes could be spared this eternal agony. Praise the Lord for His undying love for mankind.

You Don't Want to Go There!!!!
My hubby wanted this book, after reading the author's book re Heaven. I haven't read it myself. He's a pastor and we have many, many books. Afterwards he shook his head and said it was astounding, and how realistic the scenes were portrayed, like you were actually there observing like the author. He gave "Thumbs Up" on this book, He said that after reading this book (plus the Bible's many mentions of Hell) no person would WANT to go there, but unbelief in Jesus WILL send you there!! Not knowing this, is the tragic part of this situation.

makes you stop and think
I only read about half of the book and thought it was okay, it did sound a little far fetched but did make some good points. The author did not use very many scriptures as she told her story and at time did contradict herself but all together it did make me think very much about my relationship with My Lord.
