Bad Religion
The main character in this book, Patrik Hedstrom, is a police detective who is in a stable happy relationship unlike those in Mankell and Idridson. The story shows how religion can infect a family and cause heinous crimes because of a false belief. I found it an exciting piece of fiction that was hard to put down to go to bed. Even though I had put it down it was hard to get to sleep because it had raised my adrenalin levels.
