Interesting Approach
While the book isn't an exhaustive study of how plastics came to dominate our existence, it does provide a glimpse into several aspects of our daily lives where plastics intrude. These include focusing on the grocery store bag, the floating plastic debris in the oceans, and plastic's effect on wildlife, you, and me. There are several tidbits of useful information (the resin codes for recycling purposes, pg. 178) buried among the chapters and the book is worth the hours invested.
