Terrific Social Drama
This plot by Rick R Reed involves child abuse and both overt and covert homosexuality, leading to a father's ultimate decision to kidnap his son to protect him from a psychologically and physically abusive environment. Excellent character development makes Mute Witness a realistic and believable tale. Be warned that it's theme of child abuse does not recommend it to the faint of heart. I really can't say much more about Mute Witness without giving the story away. But I will say that it kept me riveted to my easy chair from start to finish.
Rick R Reed is also responsible for such psychological thrillers as Obsessed and Penance. Mute Witness gives further testimony to his excellence in the psychological drama genre.
