During their confinement to a research outpost in Antarctica, Jamie, Brandon, and Tuck begin to develop their sexual identities while awaiting rescue during a serious snowstorm. Jamie is both the youngest and the most experienced. He clearly is an anal bottom from the outset. Brandon and Tuck are still formative because homosexual identity is newer to them than it is to Jamie. The only thing missing in this very intense story of a sexual threesome is the maturing sexual identities of Brandon and Tuck. It seems inevitable that with their residual heterosexual histories, Brandon and Tuck will feel much more comfortable in an anal insertion role--a role clearly compatible with their serious attraction to Jamie's butt, the beauty of which is clearly delineated by the author. The author should have added an epilogue, a year down the road, in which Jamie's passive appetites are intensified and Brandon and Tuck work to devote increasing amounts of time to maturing Jamie's identity as a bottom. The ending at present leaves sexual identity of Brandon and Tuck fluid; we know they should be on their way to resolution by both nurting Jamie's passive anal compulsion.
