I found the book to be very difficult to read, not because of the writing style, but because of the author's life story. Ms. Stefanowicz had a very difficult childhood that affected her whole life. Form early abuse to early adulthood, the story is heart breaking and revealing. Growing up with a homosexual parent(s) and experiencing the homosexual culture first hand, certainly had a lasting negative impact on this young woman. Hopefully, writing her story was a healing experience.
