Sheep, sheep, everywhere
This is a book which I really enjoyed. It is both whimsical and fantastical, while being set in the real world. Like most of Murakami's work, there are references to popular music, jazz, beautiful ears...
The protagonist is a thirtysomething, nice guy, who becomes embroiled in a chase for one extraordinary sheep. But knowing the sheep...really KNOWING the sheep, could prove to be dangerous.
An excellent read, however, it may make more sense to you if you are familiar with Murakami's quirky characters and settings.
