Approximately seventy percent of this volume is devoted to the family histories of roughly 200 or more early settlers. Also included are several sections which contain a list of deaths from 1744 to 1849; Militia Rolls; Petitions; lists of various officials; and residents to who immigrated to other states and the states to which they removed.
