This book is really a prequel to Henderson's O'Malley Series which is an awesome series. I think this story wasn't quite as good as the rest and doesn't have a major connection. I would recommend that you go for the entire series, even if you didn't love this book. Henderson is a Christian writer who writes great suspense that keeps you guessing. She doesn't sugar-coat things either which can be an annoying thing about Christian fiction. So go for the rest of the series! Really!

I Love This Book
Danger i n the Shadows is considered the prequel to Dee Henderson's O'Malley Series. I just love this book. It is one of the few books I read again every year. The contrast of the reclusive Sara who needs security due to a death threat versus Adam who is a public sports figure in the public all the time is just great. The sacrifices he makes to be with her and fit into her situation make a great story. The O'Malley series is also a series I have reread a few times.

Stalker
This is the prequel to the O'Malley series. It introduces Dave Richman (who happens to be a rich man). He is the brother of Sara, who was kidnapped when she was a child, along with her twin sister, who died. Sara feels guilt because of her death. She's also intensely afraid of the dark because of her experience. She meets Adam Black in an elevator and the power goes out. She has a panic attack, while he thinks she did it as a ploy to meet him becuse he's a famous football player/businessman. The main conflict between them as they fall in love, is that he is in the limelight and she must remain anonymous, sinse she's in the witness protection program. A man is stalking her. She's also a writer of books about kidnapped children. This is a type of therapy for her, although she had not yet written her sister's story. I'm surprised that the children weren't harmed at all when they were kidnapped; more the exception than the rule, I'd think.
