A good way to go back to basics
Would you put water in your gas tank instead of gasoline? Of course not, yet we put all kinds of things in our bodies. This book helps to take us back to the basic knowledge of our bodies, how they work and what keeps them or hurts them. I really recommend you pay attention to the first chapters that deal with what your body needs and what it does not. The diet at the end, I agree, is hard to follow. IT is ideal, but not always possible. But if all you take away from it is learning to care for your body properly, you will have made a major investment in your health of which you will reap benefits for a long healthy life.

Diet Woes
I bought this book because I had an aquaintance who did this diet. I thought, "If she can do it, I can." Well, no so fast my friend. This was not the easy read I was expecting and certainly not the diet for someone who has to hold down a job. The reading was ok.
