I Love This Book
Of the 6 O'Malley books by Dee Henderson, this is probably my favorite. Marcus is the oldest and considers himself the guardian of one and all in the family of 6, and he takes his job seriously. As the Christians in the family try to bring the rest to salvation, Marcus feels abandoned by God when his mother died despite his prayers as a young boy and struggles with whether he can trust God to keep his family safe now.

My Favourite Marshal
This book was my first exposure to Christian romance/thrillers. It is the third in a series of seven books. Even as I read the rest of the series, Marcus remained my favourite of the siblings. He is protecting a judge, who is then murdered. He has to then protect the eye witness to the murder. He falls in love with her. He's just the kind of guy any woman would want for a body guard. All of Dee Henderson's books have mystery, action and romance in them. Each book also deals with a spirtual issue; in this case, Marcus struggles with unanswered prayer.
