I've read all the Bloodhound series at this point and was held captive by each and every one. A friend I introduced to the series, who has trained and handled tracking dogs tho not Bloodhounds, could not put the books down and said Lanier got each and every tracking detail just right. The only downer is Lanier's passing and the knowledge there will never be another in the series. Do not miss this series if you love dogs and a good mystery, the best combination for a great read!
