They'll find guidelines for rendering leaves, mud, snow, fur, feathers and more, plus one full demonstration that puts these animal and environment textures together in a single painting. * Very accessible instruction in step-by-step form* Teaches a unique subject matter and taps into the public's interest in the environment. John Agnew is one of the country's premier artists specializing in fine art, realistic nature murals and immersion exhibit design. His experience in creating lifelike environments gives his fine art paintings a sense of "being there" seldom experienced in two-dimensional mediums. John's work was selected for the Arts For the Parks show, sponsored by the National Parks Academy of the Arts, in 1998, 1999, and 2000.
I love the book but when I got it i thought it was for watercolor because it was in that category. This is a great book for acrylic painters and it will remain in my library but doesn't help much for watercolor painters because the mediums act so different.
