I find this book disappointing. The layout of the photos gives the impression of having been done in a hurry by school children. Examples: in the following shots, images of principal subjects are squeezed into the spine of the book, while peripheral space is generously treated; Denver, Aug. 28 photo of presidential and vice-presidential candidates; Philadelphia, Oct. 11 photo of young man; Miami, Oct.21; Norfolk, Oct. 28.
I ordered the book on an enthusiastic whim, after seeing a news item about the photographer's having secured permission to follow Obama's campaign, and I now regret having spent my money on it.
