This book was recommended to me in a sewing class. I was curious how a Kimono might relate to sewing modern garments. I find it is a fundamental reference for sewing simple and elegant clothes. The basic designs are a springboard for creating any number of variations. The stitching references and the way the garments are finished are great techniques for any level sewer.
