I love George Carlin. I think the guy is a genius, but Napalm and Silly Putty was not his best work. While there were flashes of the twisted genius we all know and love, most of this book was filler. It went on too long and left me wanting less, not more.

Fans of George Carlin will enjoy.
Napalm and Silly Putty by George Carlin is what most will expect from the famous standup comedian George Carlin. Carlin goes on rants about some of the oddities of life. If you ever heard a George Carlin CD before you know the style this books is written in. Carlin provides interesting look at life with off-sense of humor added in.
I recommend this book for all fans of George Carlin or Lewis Black. Also if you are a fan of stand-up comedy it a great look at how writing your jokes on paper is much different then hearing a joke out load. I love Carlin twisted view on the world and find it very humorous, but I did feel the book dragged on at time trying to reach a page count instead of just provide great reading material. That why I give Napalm and Silly Putty by George Carlin, 4 stars out of 5 stars.
