Robert Graves served in WW I but not with Lawrence. Still, he had access to first hand accounts and TE Lawrence himself. At times long and wordy. But for insight to irregular warfare it has it points. Worth the read it. The book "Setting the Desert of Fire" may have got its title from this book.
