Interesting account
Toland wrote this book when many of the people who could provide eyewitness details were still living, making it a compelling story. However, later research and the uncovering of FBI files contradict some of his statements. He also obviously injected his personal feelings into what is purportedly a historical, fact-based work. But overall, an interesting account of the people, times, and life of John Dillinger.
