El contenido principal de su dolencia era el temor de que les sucediera algo a las dos personas a las que m�s quer�a: su madre y la dama de sus pensamientos. Sent�a, adem�s, impulsos obsesivos, tales como el de cortarse el cuello con una navaja de afeitar, y se impon�a prohibiciones que se extend�an tambi�n a cosas triviales e indiferentes. La lucha contra sus ideas obsesivas le hab�an hecho perder mucho tiempo, retras�ndole en su carrera.
