It is against this exploitation model that arises Jonathan Makeba, meaning that companies setting up in Africa do the processing of the raw material on African soil and sell abroad the finished product, ready for consumption or use, generating income and jobs locally in any African country. Despite the benefits of this new relationship model could bring for the whole region, and especially for the African Sahel region, the difficulties and corruption in government machinery faced by Sir Makeba are the reason for this intriguing story.
