Asi, viajo, por ejemplo, a la isla de Puerto Rico en 1931, como parte de un tour del Caribe y de America del Sur. Es en esta gira donde la nombra "Benemerita del Ejercito Defensor de la Soberania Nacional" en Nicaragua el general Augusto Sandino, a quien habia dado su apoyo en numerosos escritos. Ademas, dio discursos en la Universidad de Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras, en Santo Domingo, en Cuba, y en todos los otros paises de America Central."
