This spellbinding adventure is a literary triumph that proves once again why James Clavell's books have become modern classics. Yet they are also days filled with all the mystery and romance of Hong Kong--the heart of Asia--rich in every trade ... money, flesh, opium, power.

Disappointment
While the book itself is great, I was misled into thinking that I was getting the whole novel. Actually, I got Book 2 only and had to go elsewhere to order Book 1.
The ads never mentioned that it was a two book set or which of the books was being offered.
This should be corrected.

Noble House
If you read and enjoyed Shogun, Gaijin, Tai Pan, and King Rat, then Noble House will not disappoint! While the length of the book may make it seem an intimidating read, don't be fooled. This one is a page turner! Once you've finished Noble House, you'll be ready to dive right into Whirlwind, the last book in the Asian Saga.
