The latest by White is a bit less thrilling than his usual but still a good read. KILL ME was a great installment in the Alan Gregory series that I liked much better but it is always fun to get back together with him and his family situation. A good read that some will enjoy as it involves Gregory's family being threatened by a mental patient on the loose with very deadly intentions .

Dr. Alan Gregory is back
The characters and storyline of Dry Ice kept me on the edge of my seat. The author certainly understands human emotions and knows what terrifies us. Especially the secrets that haunt us from the past. It takes great courage to confront the demons from the past, and the protagonist of this story not only does just that but finally, and literally, comes face to face with the one who created his, his family, and friends, nightmares from the beginning. A truly satisfying read by author Stephen White.

DRY ICE
A mystery with a myriad of shocking events involving Stephen White's usual cast of captivating characters, ranging from Alan, a psychologist; his wife Lauren, an attorney;, Michael McClelland, a cunning murderer from the Colorado State Mental Hospital , and, a variety of other well-known interesting people. Each chapter contains past, present and future problems. Shocking events keep the reader on a pinnacle of despair, hope, and relief. My favorite book marker says: "Read the ending first. Life is so uncertain." It didn't work with DRY ICE. You are certain to like it!
