Smith Wigglesworth (1859-1947) was a British evangelist who was important in the early history of evangelism. He was also known as the Apostle of Faith because he literally believed that just about anything can be achieved through the deepest of fervent faith in God, and as this book shows, he was right. Wigglesworth said he had made a commitment to God that he would not sleep at night before he had won a soul to Christ's salvation every day. He claimed that on one occasion he could not sleep because he had not met this commitment, and that he went out into the night and met an alcoholic to whom he spoke and persuaded to become a believer. Wigglesworth is considered one of the most devoted, compassionate and influential evangelists of all time and is also credited with helping give the movement a large audience. He continued to minister up until the very last day of his death on March 12, 1947.

What a book! Smith was a blue collar guy but was born again and had received the gift of the Holy Spirit. Two stories jump out: at one point he had turned from Jesus and his wife hadn't. He mistreated her but she took it with meekness. The conviction of the Spirit got to him. He came back to Jesus in a big way. Later, when she died, he raised her from the dead to ask her something and then let her go back to heaven.

The content of the book is good but it is old and yellow and the yard sale price on it was still on it. Otherwise it was great, thank you for making it available. I still treasure the content and your making it easy to purchase.
May the Lord Jesus fully bless you.
