Seller's Description:
Collectible, Fine in Fine jacket. Book Octavo, hardcover, fine in fine orange and blue decorative dj. 332 deckled pages. First edition, second printing. By JFK's daughter, former ambassador to Japan under Obama, and the only surviving child of Jackie O. Caroline Kennedy has once again marshaled the gifts of our greatest poets to pay a very personal tribute to the human experience, this time to the complex and fascinating subject of womanhood. Inspired by her own reflections on more than fifty years of life as a young girl, a woman, a wife, and a mother.
This is a great collection of poems for women - I listen to it on long drives. It includes romantic poems, as well as humorous, ironic, and soulful. Caroline Kennedy gives her reasons for including certain selections and interjects personal anecdotes. It's a collection I'll revisit again and again.

For Every Woman Ever
I've always thought Caroline was the cool one, since I was young; this book is a great compilation, funny, witty and wise - daring and true. I want to buy a copy for every woman in my life, and I'll recite a poem for every stage of my life, forever!
