Veterans need to share what it is like to be in combat to the citizens who send them. As veterans we need to describe the horror of what our citizens have sent us to, keeping in mind the decision to go to war is irrevocable in its implications on the veteran, the society, and the country we have been sent to. Excellent book by a combat Marine who excels in describing the overall take on war.

Well written by a man who has seen it all. Intelligent insight from our warrior class........too bad the military doesn't read books like this. There might not be so many who come home and can't find themselves....
In my opinion this is a disgrace to the heroes who serve.
