Eyeopener on Education

Report on a multi-year study of elementary and secondary school education world-wide. Strongly recommends changes in the U. S,. education system. Recommendations based on solid research. Main conclusion is that increased rigor in teaching will benefit EVERYONE: students of every capability level, plus the general society. See detailed review in August 17, 2013 issue of The Economist. If you are concerned about improving education is the United States, you should read this book.
