I am a big fan of Stephen King but the Dark Tower series was wonderful. All seven books were hard to put down once I started reading. Very glad that I read them in order as past and present blended throughout. I went on to read some of King's other books that had references to the Tower series such as Buick 8, The Stand, Hearts in Atlantis, and Insomnia. All great reads!

Page-turner
Out of all of the books I have read in this series so far, this one has been the best. It is a page turner from the very beginning. I was glad that I had already purchased the next book because the ending leaves you with more questions. I have never read a series of books that could both make me laugh and cry but Stephen King is at his best with the Dark Tower series.
