Love Transcends Time
This book, originally entitled "Bid Time Return," was the basis for the movie, Somewhere in Time, starring Jane Seymour and Christopher Reeve. Although the storylines between the book and movie are similar, there are marked differences, i.e., location, and most importantly, the main character's (Richard) health, both mentally and physically. Both plots have Richard travelling back in time after falling in love with a woman in a photograph he discovers in an old, famous hotel. His research had revealed that the woman, Elise McKenna, was a famous actress of the early 20th century, but was deceased in Richard's present time.
This book is an enjoyable read for those who like romance and the possibility of time travel, and also for those who are fans of the movie -- it offers different insights into the characters' personalities.
